Hi I am looking to move house, I currently have a dble fronted victorian end of terrace (turned on its side so it looks detached)with 3 double bedrooms. I have done a lot of work to it, (damp course, electrics, parquet flooring, solid oak and slate kitchen, and a 're-furbished roof etc etc)it needs a new bathroom, ..bought but not fitted, and 2 bedrooms need redecorating) but I have just found my 'dream' home (we are looking to move area) and it is such a 'bargain' (!!) I am thinking if I put my current house through a house auction what kind of percentage would i lose on my house? I am in the Wirral (north west UK) has anyone ever sold a property through a auction? what are pros and cons? I don't mind taking a small loss, but I need to cover what i paid.. thanks x
