Hi I am looking to move house, I currently have a dble fronted victorian end of terrace (turned on its side so it looks detached)with 3 double bedrooms. I have done a lot of work to it, (damp course, electrics, parquet flooring, solid oak and slate kitchen, and a 're-furbished roof etc etc)it needs a new bathroom, ..bought but not fitted, and 2 bedrooms need redecorating) but I have just found my 'dream' home (we are looking to move area) and it is such a 'bargain' (!!) I am thinking if I put my current house through a house auction what kind of percentage would i lose on my house? I am in the Wirral (north west UK) has anyone ever sold a property through a auction? what are pros and cons? I don't mind taking a small loss, but I need to cover what i paid.. thanks x
big deal maker.. thanks.. any idea what the % is? thanks x
hi seven yeah i know its generally bargain city, but I wanna move, its a gorgeous house, just want to move area, I don't fancy putting it up with an estate agent cos the market around here is horrendeously slow(about one year seems to be average and that is if you are lucky!!) and want to move before little 'un starts school! ;-) even though i have over a year!! thanks for link will check it out now xx
